A Gentle Reminder
|
Although I'm still bathing in the afterglow of Inspired Livelihood in Sedona, my calendar reminds me that two terrific teleclasses are coming up this week. For me, that presents a dilemma.
On the one hand, I am determined not to be a nag, but I wonder if I'm being naive.
Lately I've been seeing teleclass presenters that not only announce their events weeks before they happen, but continue to send a reminder every day until the class arrives. Then they switch into countdown mode and send hourly reminders.
Maybe that works for them, but I assume that anyone on the path to being Joyfully Jobless is both decisive and proactive. I also assume that means they don't need nagging.
So what's the dilemma? Well, after Thrifty Entrepreneur last week, I started hearing from people who had planned to attend, but didn't do anything about it and ended up missing all the fun.
All I could do was commiserate and suggest they order the audio download.
If you want to participate in Beyond the $100 Hour on Tuesday, April 20 and/or I Hate Marketing on Thursday the 22, this is a gentle nudge to remind you to sign up promptly. And, of course, if you want to do both the teleclasses, you'll also get a discount.
Whatever you do, don't wait until an hour before it's time for the teleclass to begin. I may not receive your order in time to send you the call-in info.
That's all I want to say about that.
